Now that you’ve finally gotten over the thrill of his proposal (YAY!), you’ve got to get down to business planning an awesome event. Have you considered the possibility of a morning wedding? It may sound a bit strange, but hear me out, especially if you’re a morning person. A morning wedding can give you way more time to spend with your guests and your bridal party, not to mention your new hubby! And possibly the best thing about a morning wedding is the amazing light that you’ll be photographed in! You’ll have to get up really, really early to get your hair done--but chances are wedding day jitters will have you up at the crack of dawn, anyway.
If you opt for a morning wedding, there’s a good chance you’ll have less competition at cool venues or for sought-after vendors. You also might be able to keep your budget down--venues might have daytime vs. afternoon/evening pricing, and chances are you’ll spend less on alcohol during the day than at an evening reception.
Another reason to opt for a morning wedding is that it will increase the amount of time you get to spend with everyone! You’ve dreamed of this day your whole life, but trust me it will go by in a flash and will seem like the shortest day of your life. Plan a morning ceremony followed by a fun brunch--think a gourmet coffee cart, stacks of yummy doughnuts, or even a mimosa bar! From there, spend the day with your friends and family doing something you love--get into nature, play some old fashioned lawn games, go bowling. Or sneak off with your new hubby for some alone time! There are loads of possibilities.
Hey, Prince William and Kate Middleton got married before noon--why shouldn’t you?
