Question: How did you get started in Wedding Planning and Events?
Answer: I have a degree in computer science, but I've always worked in restaurants and food and beverages. Planning is a great passion of mine and I've been working in my role since April 2012. I'm the first vendor that is hired as it is important for couples choose and secure their venue. I am the initial point of contact for the client to all other vendors, catering, and on site facilities. I help with every part of the wedding day including finding music vendors, and anything the client needs.
Question: What are your clients like?
Answer: I've been very lucky with clients. I hear about bridezillas and crazy parents but I've never had either. I feel like I build a really strong relationship with my clients that we've become friends after everything. I really love all my clients and feel lucky I get to know them through this stage in their lives.
Question: What do you love most about your job?
Answer: I love the interaction between couples and vendors. I'm very much a people person and you might even find me tearing up at a ceremony because I'm so happy for my couples and it's so surreal to be a part of their lives.
Question: What do you do better than anyone else?
Answer: I feel like I connect with the couple. I am not pretentious, and am very honest. I feel that communication is extremely important to success and very organized planning quarterly or monthly calls to assist my couples.
