So what's next? The big question.
Am I the Candid Documentary Wedding Photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area for you?
Looking for a documentary photo-journalistic wedding photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area can be overwhelming! There are so many photographers and studios to choose from in Napa, Sonoma, and South Bay Regions!
I know you want amazing photos to capture you and your fiance and a wedding photography experience that will be fun and memorable, too.
So take a few minutes and walk through the steps on this page to see if you and I would be a good match for each other!
Step 1: Do you like my work?
My goal is to work with you to provide you exactly what you're looking for from a wedding photographer and give you the images that you'll love. Your wedding could be outdoors, on a sunny, rainy, cloudy day, in a temple, or a church, or an art gallery, I can shoot any location and make you look beautiful!
While shooting, I will help you find poses that look awesome and yet feel relaxed and natural. I work hard to pay attention to all the little details that will make your photos great. I try to capture both serious moments and big laughs, and lots of expressions in between. We will talk and laugh during your session, and though you may start out nervous, I hope you will walk away feeling like you made a new friend!
My editing style is clean, bright, and natural. I make careful adjustments to photos so they resemble what your day was like. I want your photos to have cinematic feel that is real and stunning - so that you'll look back at them years later and still love them as much as you will today. Here are some of my favorite Candid Documentary San Francisco Bay Area Wedding Photographs. If you like what you see, continue on to STEP 2!
James and Alastair had a very private engagement session in their home where they were photographed with their two rescue kitties Sharla and Onyx. These two love spending time together and made a delicious blueberry pie while I snapped away. They stepped outside while the pie was baking to take some stunning rooftop and city photos in San Francisco's Embarcadero. More Photos from James and Alastair's Engagement.
Toronto is their home and was part of every little nuance of their engagement session. I photographed them in Dundas Square, new and old Toronto City Hall, Osgoode Hall, and even on York St. More Photos from Trish and Alex's Engagement.
If there is one venue you could get married at in Sacramento it's the Crocker Art Musuem. Filled with classic art work and phenomenal architecture, this museum was an outstanding backdrop to a fun filled day. More Photos from Remona and Gary's Wedding.
Guerneville is one of California's hidden gems. Just an hour and a half outside of San Francisco, it is the perfect combination of forest and river. Gwen and Cory had their DIY wedding at the Dawn Ranch Lodge surrounded by family and friends from all over the world. More Photos from Gwen and Cory's Wedding.

Step 2: All the info you could ever want or need
Step 3: Contact Me and get the ball rolling!
OK, you've read about me and my work, you've seen my work here and in blog posts, you've even gone to the website and seen more work, and now you want to take the next step. Contact me and we can chat on the phone, or by Skype, or in person at my studio in San Francisco. If I'm the right wedding photographer for you, I can sendyou my contract for you and your fiance to review.
Step 4: Confirm a date, then send in your contract and deposit
I take a very limited number of weddings per year so that I can provide only the best quality images for my couples. Other photographers out there end up choosing to over book themselves and suffer from burn out and the quality of their work suffers. I can assure you that I put a lot of thought and care into preparing for your day as I depend on your kind words to work with future couples. At our in person consultation at my studio we'll go over my style of photography, how the wedding day will be with me there, and we'll sign your contract and collect your deposit. The deposit locks your date with me, without it you could lose your place me to other couples.
